What are the different stages or types of cellulite?

Adipose cellulite (orange peel skin)

Being the most common form, it is due to an excess of weight or a hormonal cause. It is often the consequence of a lack of activity or a rich diet. It is the result of an engorgement of fat cells located in the hypodermis.

"Visible on the thighs, buttocks and stomach, it is soft and elastic, not painful.

Fibrous cellulite and steatomeria

Around the old and installed fat cells, collagen fibers come to develop in the connective tissues, in the dermis and sometimes to the bottom of the hypodermis.

Localized mainly on the thighs and buttocks, fibrous cellulite is hard to the touch, painful to pinch and is the most difficult to treat.

  Aqueous cellulite

It is not very pronounced and can be seen when the skin is pinched, revealing dimples. It affects anyone. The origins are generally the alteration of blood circulation, hormonal changes and water retention.

Sensation of heavy legs, swollen feet and ankles. An orange peel effect on the arms and legs

Mixed cellulite

Mixed cellulite is a mixture of cellulite types. It can be found almost everywhere on the body.
